Know a youth who might need help? HearMeWA supports allies, too. Recognizing a youth in need is an important first step to making sure they get help. Tell them about HearMeWA or contact us yourself for guidance on how to help them.

By submitting your information, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

Children under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian read and accept the following Terms of Use on their behalf and take full responsibility for compliance with the terms and conditions of this license.

Emergencies

This form should not be used for emergencies. You acknowledge and confirm that you understand that you should call 911 or contact the appropriate authorities by phone if this is time sensitive information.

Anonymity

  • Provide no identifying information about yourself if you wish to remain anonymous (e.g., name, age, race, gender, address, etc.).
  • If you provide your name and/or contact information, you acknowledge that it will be provided to assist in resolving the concern or threat you are reporting.
  • Your tip submission is a public record. All or parts of your tip submission may be disclosed in response to a Public Records Request. To learn how we safeguard your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.

Improper Use

  • Do not use this form to make threats, cause harm, or provide false information. Per RCW 9A.76.175, a person who knowingly makes a false or misleading material statement to a public servant is guilty of a gross misdemeanor. “Material statement” means a written or oral statement reasonably likely to be relied upon by a public servant in the discharge of his or her official powers or duties.

Submission and Disposition

  • We make no guarantees regarding the examination or action taken by law enforcement or public safety personnel in response to the information you submit.
  • Although we use different tools to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that it will be 100% secure or delivered on time.

How it works

What happens when youth contact HearMeWA

HearMeWA makes it easy for anyone to ask for and receive help. Here’s how it works:

Youth contact HearMeWA via call, text, web, or app.

Youth speak to a crisis counselor about their tip or concern.

Counselors connect youth with resources or someone nearby who can help.

Youth can follow up on a report or previous call at any time.

Youth can remain anonymous by not providing identifying information.
