Children under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian read and accept the following Terms of Use on their behalf and take full responsibility for compliance with the terms and conditions of this license.

Emergencies

This form should not be used for emergencies. You acknowledge and confirm that you understand that you should call 911 or contact the appropriate authorities by phone if this is time sensitive information.

Anonymity

  • Provide no identifying information about yourself if you wish to remain anonymous (e.g., name, age, race, gender, address, etc.).
  • If you provide your name and/or contact information, you acknowledge that it will be provided to assist in resolving the concern or threat you are reporting.

Improper Use

  • Do not use this form to make threats, cause harm, or provide false information. Per RCW 9A.76.175, a person who knowingly makes a false or misleading material statement to a public servant is guilty of a gross misdemeanor. “Material statement” means a written or oral statement reasonably likely to be relied upon by a public servant in the discharge of his or her official powers or duties.

  • We make no guarantees regarding the examination or action taken by law enforcement or public safety personnel in response to the information you submit.

About HearMeWA

HearMeWA is a program for young Washingtonians up to age 25 created by the WA State Attorney General’s Office. We are committed to being antiracist, trauma-informed, and youth-centered in the services we offer. Youth and youth-serving organizations are at the center of this program and help inform the work that we do. Trained crisis counselors will field all calls.
